ELECTRIC KETTLE

is an electronic dance music act, who’s music is very vivid, jumpy, fast and deep with sudden rhythmic changes. he is very present on stage, due to the fact, that he is playing everything live — and very much so — on his keybaord. “sansculotte”; is an artists-collective that has been doing live visuals and animated music videos for about 5 years. driven by our personal interest in rhythmically complex music beyond the 4/4 loop based dance music dominating the clubs and in turn the concepts of music and vj software, we felt the need to develop new approaches in both visual expression and rhythmic control. for the visual content, we adopt a policy of strictly using our own animations, thus avoiding intellectual property issues and keeping the aesthetic appearance consistent and fresh and match the fast paced music we are focusing on performing to. together we present an audiovisual live performance, a whirlwind of fractured music and strange images, chaos synchronisation, improvisation and energy.
