The visual art collective kon.txt was founded in 2005 by 5 friends and Multi Media Art students in Austria. Focusing in generative and storytelling video projections and graphic applications, we transformed many spaces since. Since 2006 kon.txt is also a vital part of the Elektrofachadel Club (Salzburg/Vienna) which is focusing on experimental electronic music and art, audiovisual DJ/VJ sets and of course always some kind of party. While developing interactive concepts at home, a great importance consists in our live performings as VJs and Visually supporting the musicians Dorian Concept (Vienna), L’egojazz (Munich) and the Microchipkids (Wels)

kon.txt is using all kinds of tools to create and collect our footage. from hand drawn animation or super8 film to 3d animaiton or generative content. During the last 5 years we tried to create a setup and a style where it is possible to combine these very different fragments to one conclusive VJset. VJing is only one part of our work. The members of kon.txt are coming from different backgrounds and focusing on different genres in multimedia production. So it is possible to tackle nearly every upcoming project, from experimental audio DJ/VJ liveacts to high class celebrity party visuals.
