Ray-V & Yehonatan Oppenheim (IL)

Ray-V
Follows by their “video art”, that was displayed at the “Tate Britain”, Quiet Voices” Event Jan 2010; The Tel Aviv based visual designer Ray-V [Revital Elkayam]and Yehonatan Oppenheim,a talented musician / composer, set an Audio-Visual event in which they played live improvisations set on the theme of their piece – both audio and video. The event success and turn-out drew them both to continue experience and experiment their Audio-Visual spectrum.
20 minutes of Audio-Visual Chill-out experimental improvisation over the “3 steps” – The piece displays the quiet undertones of Tel Aviv life, and points out the various textures which define life in the city: Alienation, quiet, restlessness, loneliness, movement, anxieties, human landscape vs. urban nature. follows the elements which fill the urban space. The tree-lined boulevards. The people constantly roaming the streets, destinations unknown. Trees fighting for space against the backdrop of constant construction. The passive fight of nature against the city’s constant tendency to expand and choke the space.
